I bought these to coordinate with a set of dishes I bought for the RV. The dishes are black, white and scarlet red. Believe it or not its hard to find NICE scarlet red salt & pepper shakers. I don't know WHY I even BOTHER to look/shop elsewhere for things. I always end up right back at amazon with the very thing I was searching so hard for! Anyway, these simple and elegant shakers were perfect and added to the WOW factor of the entire decor. The surface is extremely shiny and smoothe with no 'mishaps' in the finish and function perfectly. Thanks again, to Amazon.
